1.Data Processing
ToolPDF processes files in two distinct ways depending on the tool you use. In both cases, your privacy is protected.
Browser-side tools (no upload required)
For most tools, your PDF is loaded directly into your browser memory using the Web File API. All operations are performed by JavaScript libraries (PDF.js, pdf-lib, jsPDF) running locally. No data is ever transmitted to our servers.
Server-side conversions
For conversions involving Office formats (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or HTML, your file is transmitted to our server over an encrypted HTTPS connection for processing with PHPOffice libraries.
Files are stored in an isolated temporary directory and permanently deleted immediately after the converted file is sent back to your browser.
2.Analytics & Cookies
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregate data about how visitors use ToolPDF. This data does not include any file content, file names, or personally identifiable information.
Cookies
We use one session cookie to remember your language preference. No tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or persistent identifiers are used.
3.Third-party Services
ToolPDF uses a small number of external services to deliver CSS and JavaScript libraries. These services may log your IP address in their server logs.
